Accidental death cover

- Save time and money by going direct
- Change or add beneficiaries to your Simple Lifepolicy at any time
- Increase your cover, subject to terms and conditions, and a maximum of R100 000.
Exclusions:
The Life Policy does not cover, and won’t pay out for, the following events:
- Suicide or self-inflicted injury within the first 24 months of the policy term.
- A wilful and material violation of any criminal law
- Deliberate or regular involvement in hazardous or risky hobbies, sports or activities more than once-a-year
- Policy will be cancelled due to unpaid premiums, subject to a grace period.

What you’ll need:
- Completed claim form
- Death certificate
- Certified copy of the ID of the deceased
- Certified copy of the ID of the claimant or beneficiary
- Notification of registration of death
- Copy of the police report in the case of a death due to unnatural causes
Please note:
- Claims must be submitted within 12 months of the insured person’s death
- Claimants need to provide proof of their relationship with the policyholder or insured member
- Claims are processed by the Liberty Group once all information is verified
