- Sebetsa Trading was established in 2004. Since its launch, the company has grown from 15 employees to a team of nearly 400 staff.
- Based in Rustenburg in North West province, the business supplies its largely Mining sector client base with HTPE materials.
- Sebetsa Trading’s fleet is a critical component of the business’s value chain in terms of collecting supplies and delivering orders.
The Solution
For more than 19 years, we have demonstrated the meaning of partnership through our relationship-driven operating model which has enabled us to provide tailor-made solutions to add true value to Sebetsa Trading in the following ways:
- Through access to sustainable vehicle and asset finance, the company has built up its fleet to over 30 vehicles, thereby saving costs on vehicle rentals and outsourcing.
- Our Fleet Card and online reporting solutions have enabled accurate and efficient tracking of transactions and have helped the company quickly detect and stop instances of fraud.
The Outcome
- Our alliances with oil companies deliver monthly savings on diesel through refuelling at selected filling stations.
- A working capital solution in the form of an overdraft facility has provided access to short-term finance that has enabled the business to meet its day-to-day operational requirements.
- Payment relief during the Covid lockdowns enabled the business to divert funds reserved for servicing loan repayments to pay salaries instead. This enabled the company to preserve jobs and support its employees, which further positioned them as the employer of choice, increased employee commitment and continued to thrive on a positive growth trajectory, post pandemic.
